The Workforce Development Committee works to strengthen and coordinate workforce service provision in the Southwest Partnership area, connect local residents to existing workforce development resources and jobs, and develop new resources and employment opportunities as they are identified.
Southwest Works is the Southwest Partnership’s Workforce Development program, providing one on one support to community members looking for work. For more information and to make an appointment please click here.
In 2020 the Workforce Development Committee has been able to provide workforce development grants to area organizations to increase access to opportunities for area residents. The Workforce Development Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm
The Workforce Roundtable, made up of workforce provider and programs, meets the third Friday of the month at 3:00pm.
