The Safe, Vibrant, and Walkable Streets Committee works on greening, sanitation and transportation projects–everything that is needed to make our streets, parks, lots, and public spaces vibrant, healthy, and secure.
The Vibrant and Walkable Streets Committee meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Southwest Partnership Office (1138 Hollins St 2nd floor) More information about past meetings can be found here.

- Develop and implement a community lead anti-trash campaign across all seven neighborhoods
- Improve the appearance, safety, and vibrancy of the Carey St corridor
- Increase community engagement and participation in the Committee, and community transportation, greening, and sanitation projects
- Implement the Small Neighborhood Grants Program
