Fall Tree Planting
The Southwest Partnership Safe, Vibrant, and Walkable Streets Committee planted more than seventy trees in fall 2015! The trees are filling in gaps in the Southwest Partnership tree canopy and will increase neighborhood shade and beauty and decrease energy bills for decades to come. With the help of community members, volunteers from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and Bon Secours Clean and Green Crew trees were planted along Pratt Street, Fulton Ave, Hollins St, and the eastern end of Hollins Roundhouse.
